Description

A fantastic antique Georgian period wine cooler / cellarette. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1790’s period.

It is a beautiful and useful item, it is of great quality and is very well made. There is a lift up lid, and the main section lifts completely off the stand with solid brass carry handles. There is lovely brass banding that encircles the top section, and the original lining can be seen inside. The top has a beautiful starburst parquetry veneer pattern. The legs are reeded & the base above is grooved. This is a nicer than average example of this type of model.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for it age. There is just some historical minor wear here and there beneath the polish.
