This is a fine and substantial pair of antique obelisk in a beautiful amethyst, dating from the Grand Tour era circa 1890.

The pair are in excellent original condition and are in the 18th century style with superbly figured specimen stone set on the columns on stepped square plinths.

These are a good size measuring 52 cms high and 11 cms square at the base.
