A fine and usual late Regency work or sewing table with secretaire drawer. The table stands on a trestle base wonderfully carved and shaped with scrolls and stylised acanthus. The top has a charming little rosewood gallery with slender turned baluster supports. The secretaire drawer is beautifully fitted with rise and fall slope. There is also a box below that slides out and would have been used for sewing. The whole is in good original condition with some minor old repairs. The rosewood has a great figuring and good patina.
