This SAILOR’S WOOLWORK PICTURE of HMS WARRIOR dates from circa 1870.

HMS WARRIOR was commissioned by the Royal Navy between 1859 and 1861.

The SHIP is shown with sails furled and flags flying. There are other small boats in attendance.

The woolwork is on a wooden frame which is behind glass in a painted Victorian frame.
