A Very Unusual Irish Antique Killarney Knitting Sheath

A very unusual Irish knitting sheath inlaid with the Irish shamrock on the front panel. The inlaid shamrock is how many of the Killarney Ware items were decorated.
It has a pronounced arched back and fish tail end.
Very few Irish knitting sheaths are known.
It measures 17cm l x 2.3cm w.
