Description

Here we have a rare and stunning weather vane c1900. As you can see the polychrome paint has great colour and patina. The vane depicts a sailor looking out to sea with the telescope and hair pointing the directions. It is double sided with two loops holding the rod so it can spin. This large vane is in very good condition with very small paint loss. The dimensions are approx 83 cm high 44 cm wide and 171 cm high on its base.
