Description

On offer for sale are these fine pair of Ao Kutani shallow dishes dating to the 19th century. Attractively decorated with a floral centre surrounded with geometric design panels on a pale ivory crackle ground. The reverse with swirls in black against a green glaze. Both are signed within a yellow glaze square. Each dish is approx 22cm in diameter and approx 4cm high. Each one is without any damage, restoration, or hairlines. Quite rare as a pair and of this floral design.
