Earthenware is low-fired porous pottery, glazed to hold liquid, and it covers the domestic and ornamental wares that filled European and Asian households from the 18th century onward.
The largest earthenware to pass through Sellingantiques are country wares: a 69cm tian bowl from the South of France and a 53cm terracotta dairy bowl.
