Description

An Early 19th Century Italian Walnut Centre Table with Dolphin Feet and Beautifully Patinated Segmented Veneered Top.

This table features a segmented veneered walnut top of exceptional colour and patination with a contrasting burr walnut crossbanded edge. The bottom of the frieze is surrounded by a giltwood moulding of crisply carved leaves. The gun barrel columnar stem is supported by three delightful dolphin feet and rectangular slipper toes.

This is a very rare model of table of great quality. The dolphin feet are exceptionally charming and eye-catching but it is the colour of the top which makes it so appealing.
