Massive English 19th Century Country House Antique Kitchen Dining Table

This is a wonderful, large-scale country house antique kitchen dining table, from North Yorkshire. A rare model having the unique North of England turn over table top that is made from two long and wide plank boards that are cleated to each end and with pegged, central joints. One side is scrubbed and the other in the original finish, a clever design, one to work on and the other to dine upon. This huge table top has never been attached so you can flip it for baking and dining. This is a fabulous size and with good clearance for dining at. This antique table base has turned legs that are joined by a H stretcher, the base is still in the original finish. A very original large scale English country house dining table that dates to around 1840. In excellent condition.
