A George III period, mahogany tilt-top tripod table with birdcage, dating from the late C18th. A quality table, featuring a single piece solid mahogany top. Relief carved into it are nine bowls around its edge, separated by with foliate details, all around an inner bowl. A hinged tilt mechanism and rotating birdcage. Supported by a well proportioned carved turned stem, raised on a tripod of carved cabriole legs with claw feet.
