Description

Splendid Louis XV centre table with elaborate rocaille gilt base and spectacular cool-toned marble top displaying a naturally mottled pattern. The base is emblazoned with carved venus shells and flourishes leading into an ‘X’ stretcher continuing to a highly decorative central feature. Overall an epitome of French furniture design and completed by its curvaceous form and visually attractive on all sides.

In an almost immaculate condition commensurate with age (as photographed).
