Plain frieze. The substructure consisting of turned supports with square stretchers. A marriage of mid C17th substructure with similarly aged top. An extremely heavy proportionate for its size.

A charming table, full of character, attractive patina and very good polish. Ready for use.

This table measures approximately 71 cm (28") tall, 135.5 cm (53.25") wide leaves up, and 58.25 cm (23") wide leaves down, 96.25 cm (38") deep.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in reasonable condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. Some marks and blemishes. Some wax fills in the top. Marriage of base and top, both of same period. Some repairs. Cleaned and wax polished. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
