An oak, oval top, gateleg small dining table or occasional table, dating from the mid C17th. With solid oak top, with twin drop leaves, each supported by a gateleg hinged within the substructure. Plain frieze. The substructure consisting of turned supports with square stretchers. A marriage of mid C17th substructure with similarly aged top. An extremely heavy proportionate for its size.
A charming table, full of character, attractive patina and very good polish. Ready for use.

This table measures approximately 71 cm (28'') tall, 135.5 cm (53.25'') wide leaves up, and 58.25 cm (23'') wide leaves down, 96.25 cm (38'') deep.
