Description

This is a beautifully proportioned Swedish 18th Century Pine Gateleg Table that has a wonderful overall patina and is in good condition and stands sturdily whether extended or not.

When fully extended the very large drop leaf sides combine with the large centre section to a length of over 2 metres with a depth in excess of 1.2 metres which gives a dining table of great size that comfortably seats everyone. The centre section of the base a hand dovetailed drawer to each side which is a very useful additional feature.

This lovely table is suitable for any accommodation and could be used for various purposes as the leaf sides fold down smoothly. When fully extended as mentioned earlier it makes a wonderful dining table of great size; with one leaf extended it is a fabulous work surface suitable as a desk or similar and if both leaves are folded down it could function as a console table.
