Large Early 19th Century Extending Mahogany Dining Table Attributed to Gillows

Description

Large good quality mahogany dining table circa 1820 seating up to 10 people, standing on 8 reeded legs with all the original brass cup castors, the table is made up of 2 end sections with pull out leaf supports which each hold a leaf. The table then is held in place with 6 clips to make a large sturdy dining table. The table was constructed using fine quality mahogany 200 years ago and remains in good condtion with the normal signs of age and use, it has been restored and repolished in recent years and is ready for many more decades of use
