Really lovely Regency mahogany and walnut inlaid tripod table or wine table, circa 1820 and in good country house condition.
Very decorative with the one piece dish top being inlaid 8 pointed star and supported by the turned pedestal with three splayed legs.
As you can see, the top of the table has been well used and I have left it this way as these age and use marks are under decades of polish and beeswax, so it seems a shame to remove all that to get it back to a perfect finish…hence my term of “country house” condition.
Stands well and is solid, so you could use this as a lamp table too.
Measuring:
29 1/4 inches or 74.5 cm height.
23 1/2 inches or 59.5 cm diameter
