Constructed with top quality solid mahogany tops, they benefit from a stunning single-plank thumb moulded top (a sign of quality). Below, the tables are decorated with a fine reed-moulded frieze, with curved “D” ends, raised on square tapering legs, terminating on their original brass castors.

This Georgian pair of console tables boast a stunning deep rich red-brown mahogany colour, having been cleaned and professionally French polished by hand in our workshop. They possess a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received.

Condition Report:
This is a fine quality pair of antique English Georgian pair of console tables, constructed from solid mahogany, circa 1800, in excellent condition. The console tables have been adapted from a dining table. This pair of mahogany console tables have been cleaned and professionally French polished by hand in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination are of an excellent standard. Nominal old use marks to the curved “D” end friezes, but nothing significant considering the age of them. Faint old ring marks visible on tops (please consider, these tables are over 200 years old). There are no splits to the tops (as the tops are impressively constructed from a single pieces of timber) and no breaks to the legs. This pair of Georgian pair of console tables stand on their original legs, which are solid in joint and terminate on their original brass castors. They are well constructed, heavy, solid in joint and ready to use.
