Description

A fine quality French boulle engraved brass and red tortoise shell inlaid occasional table or lamp table in the Louis XV style. The freestanding serpentine shaped table is intricately inlaid to the top with scrolling leaf design and features vases of flowers and birds finished with cherubs to the centre and an ebonised border.

Throughout the table is inlaid in scrolling leaf design with ebonised detail and it is adorned with bronze gilt moulds, cherub mounts and female figures terminating down the tapering cabriole legs to sabot feet.

There is a single drawer to the frieze which has a polished mahogany interior and it has its original working lock which comes with a key.
