Bow Front Marble Top Console Table C.1820

Description

Stylish little early 19th.c. French Empire style mahogany and marble top console table c.1820. Bow fronted and just 32" wide. Original black marble top (note the tiny fossils embedded within) over a flame mahogany veneered apron with a single oak lined drawer in the front with a large vine and grape decorated escutcheon. Raised on fine turned column front supports with good quality tooled brass mounts top and bottom. Low plinth or shelf, veneered to match on short feet. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied. Mirror available separately.
