Antique and Unique has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The legs are an attractive shape and are decorated with marquetry to the outer face, line inlay to the other faces, and terminate in the original castors. The top has matched veneer radiating out from the centre and the three shaped drop leaves all have a matching decorative marquetry design of scrolled foliage and a stylised bird. A very pretty little table that looks just as nice with the leaves closed as it does with them open.

Condition: Overall this is in excellent condition. The only flaws are as follows: There is a repaired break in one leg - the join is very hard to see and I must admit I only spotted it because of the screw hole where the repair was made; The castors don’t roll freely - a little oil or grease may improve this; There are a couple of areas of damage/loss to the edges of the drop leaves; There is a slight twist in the base, which is very hard to spot in the flesh but can be seen in the photos.

Dimensions:
Diameter when open - 78.5cm
Width of the top when the leaves are closed - 59cm
