Provincial French Walnut Table - Mid 19th Century

Description

A very pretty 19th Century French table, made from beautifully coloured Walnut and dating from around 1860. The 2 plank top with two drop leaves which rise and are supported on pull out lopers with original iron ring handles.

The table has lovely turned legs which terminate in original small brass casters.

There are knocks, marks and some small walnut infills , but these are part of its history and the whole table has developed a deep natural sheen from years of use, cleaning and wax. The table has been in storage in my bard for a number of years and does need a good coat of wax to bring it back to life.

Practical, very usable and a very pretty provincial table of great charm.
