Elegant Antique Regency Rosewood Games Table
This Elegant early 19th century Antique Regency Rosewood Games Table dates from ca. 1830. It has a beautifully figured top that swivels and opens to double its size, revealing a concealed games compartment in the process and a playing surface. One half is inlaid and the opposite has the original / early tooled leather. This fine antique games table stands on a central pedestal with shaped base and four small turned bun feet. The Rosewood is a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
