Card Table Edwardian Mahogany

1900 - 1920
Description

Here we have a fine Edwardian Mahogany card table c1900. The table as you can see is extremely elegant and of the highest quality. The table has long angled tapered legs and a beautifully shaped undertier. The tray is elegantly made in Mahogany withits original baize to protect the top. The top itself has exqusite crossbanded Mahogany to the edge and swivels beautifully on its original mechanism. The hinges are also original as is the baize which is tooled to the edge. The colour on the inside is magnificant. The baize has come apart down the middle but this does not affect play. The piece has great colour all round and the darker patch is only where something has stood maybe a lamp which has stopped the light mellowing the Mahogany. There is a small mark to the top but again this does not affect the appearence. A beautiful piece of Edwardian furniture in full working order ready for your home. Dimensions are approx top 15 (30) x 22 (44) inches 27.5 high.
