Description

A French walnut and ormolu mounted writing table. The table has three drawers to one side with three opposing dummy drawers, allowing the table to be free standing, the black tooled leather and all the mounts are original. There is a small piece of veneer that is missing from the bottom r/h front leg which we are having restored. The outline of the top is shaped, the leather writing surface is inset into a fully cross-grain, banded top then surrounded by decorative mount.
