Pair of Georgian Demi Lune Console Tables

Description

Good pair of Georgian mahogany demi lune console tables on square chamfered legs, circa 1820 and both in in good original condition.

Both tables have a consistent colour and neither has glass ring marks etc, well cleaned and beeswax polished.

They stand well with the square chamfered legs giving them a little more presence than some of the usual tapering leg styles.

The demi lune tables can be placed together to make up a round table or used as a pair of console or serving tables as shown.

Measuring:

28 1/2 inches or 72.5 cm high

47 3/4 inches or 121.5 cm wide

23 1/2 inches or 59.5 cm deep

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
