A George II period, mahogany tilt-top tripod table with birdcage, Circa 1760. A original and high quality table, constructed in excellent early well figured solid mahogany. A circular top, from a single piece of attractively figured heavy mahogany, hinged tilt mechanism and rotating birdcage. Supported by a well proportioned baluster turned stem with wrythen carved base, raised on a tripod of cabriole legs.
A superb example, in very good and original condition. Excellent colour, polish and patina throughout. Ready for use.

Excellent colour, patina, and polish. A couple of scratches in the polish on the top, otherwise only minor marks and blemishes. No obvious signs of repair or structural damage.
