George III period, mahogany inlaid console cum folder card or games table, Circa 1790. This table with fronted top, sun-burst marquetry, cross-banded border with inlaid stringing. The top folds out to reveal a green baize with four counter wells. Supported by a concertina bracketed rear legs. Well figured frieze matching cross-banding and stringing. Square tapered legs, with stringing.
A high quality, and attractive, period table, though now with numerous flaws, but still very much ready for use.

This table measures approximately 74 cm (29.25'') tall, 97.25 cm (38.25'') wide, 48 cm (19'') deep unfolded, and 96 cm (37.75'') deep folded out.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in a fair but useable condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy.
