Superb Antique Georgian Cuban Mahogany Extending Dining Table C1780 Wdb6106/29.11

Description

This is a stunning antique george 111 cuban mahogany extending dining table dating from around 1780 and seats 8-10. Of quality cuban mahogany the table transforms from a pair of demi lune console tables by means of an extra leaf which slots in to slide out supports from the back of the tables and then secures with its original clips. It has a reeded edge to the top above a deep frieze to the pair of tables and stands on reeded legs on a spade foot on castors.

In very good condition with a lovely colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing the charm and character of the georgian period.

Each table measures: 29" high X 24" deep X 54" wide

The dining table when joined measures: 29" high X 54" X 82"
