Edwardian Green Pancheon - Dairy or Dough Bowl.

Description

Here is a beautiful vivd green glazed terracotta pancheon or dairy / dough bowl. Standing 12cm high, and 35cm in diameter this kitchen bowl is a beautiful addition to any home.

The bowl is in good condition, and as an artisanal handmade piece has a wonderful shape to it - the top slightly wonky, and the glaze rustic with dots and dabs and slip misses making it a really unique example, and adding to its considerable charm. There is the usual surface wear to be expected of a piece of this age, with one tiny flea bite about 1mm long as shown, but as the photos hopefully show, the bowl looks great.
