Description

A George II period, oak tilt-top tripod table, Circa 1750. A well proportioned country table, constructed in well figured solid oak. A circular top, from quarter sawn well figured solid English oak, with tilt mechanism. Supported by a stout baluster turned stem, raised on a tripod of cabriole legs.

This handsome, simple, country table. In very good original condition, with good colour, polish and patina. Ready for use. Ideal for use as side or lamp table.

This table measures approximately 63.5 cm (25") tall, and 67 cm (26.5") in diameter.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in very good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. Good colour, patina, and a good polish. Some minor marks and blemishes. Little aged wear to the bottom of the feet. No obvious signs of repair or damage. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
