This Quality 19th century Victorian Mahogany Antique Writing Library Table dates from ca. 1850 and comes with wonderful charm and character. It has a rectangular moulded top with rounded corners that sits above a working frieze drawer with turned handles. There is a faux drawer on the opposite side so can be placed in the centre of a room if desired. This beautiful antique writing table has shaped moulded sides with scrolled feet and small brass castors. There is a turned cross stretcher for added stability. The Mahogany is a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
