Description

A Victorian period, mahogany extending dining table, Circa 1870. This large high quality table, constructed in solid mahogany, with well figured mahogany rectangular top, with rounded corners and thumb moulded edge. Plain frieze, raised on well proportioned ring turned fluted legs, on brass and ceramic castors. The top extends by way of winding screw mechanism, with original handle, by two additional leaves.

A handsome table, some minor marks and blemishes, but in good condition and ready for use.

Dimensions:

This table measures approximately 73.5 cm (28") tall, 240 cm (94.5") long extended, and 121 cm (47.5") wide. The two additional leaves measure 47 cm (18.5") and 39 cm (15.5").

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally very sound and sturdy. Some minor marks and blemishes. The mechanism and castors all work well. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
