Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
1860. It has a very slight kidney shaped top with moulded edge and early tooled leather writing insert. This sits above four stunning barley twist supports and four scrolled legs. The Mahogany on this fine writing table has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
