Description

A good early 19th century Mahogany Wine Table by the famous cabinet maker Gillows of Lancaster.

The table stands 30 inches tall with a gadrooned edge to the finely figured mahogany top. (Diameter of the top 15 inches). The central column is beautifully turned and carved with a tapered upright with floral carved base. The column screws into its trefoil base with squared ends and beeded edge, supported on three typically carved Gillows melon feet.

In superb condition of good colour and deep patina. Recommended.
