Antique Liberty Japanese Carved Side Table

1900 - 1920
Description

A stunning occasional/side table in a Japanese style with crisp carved sunflowers and foliage made for Libertys of London around 1905

Has an octagonal top and undertier with splayed curved legs in an ebonised finish with a nice aged patina ….has the Liberty carved mark on its’ underside

These were carved in Japan and exported to London to retail in Libertys store in Regent street at the beginning of the 20th century

A really elegant piece of furniture which is ideal for a wine table and is useful decorative and timeless

It measures 14 inches wide by 20 inches high
