Here we have an outstanding Charles II Oak gateleg dining table c1680. The table has the most remarkable colour and patina. This is the best table of its type we have ever had in our stock. This incredibly rare original table has a desirable four plank top with carefully selected timbers showing super grain and colour. The top looks a little uneven in colour but this is due to our downlights in the showroom. The colour is everything that you would want from a period Oak table. There are 4 pegs slightly raised from the surface as you would expect holding the centre plank to the base. This fresh to the market table has original Iron hinges and a single drawer to one end. The table has been in the same Norfolk home forever hence its remarkable condition. There are the best turned legs we have seen with the original feet. The table is of pegged mortice and tenon construction throughout and in great retail condition ready for your home or collection. The table will seat 8.
