A late 19th century mahogany & ormolu mounted bijouterie table vitrine of French influence. Of kidney form, the shaped bevelled glazed top with a fine marquetry border, opening to a relined interior. The shaped sides panelled with tulipwood and ormolu beading, standing on four fluted legs headed by rosettes and ending in cabriole shaped lower legs with sabots, united by a shaped platform. The mounts regilded. Although of French design, the locks and hinges of English manufacture.
