Superb Quality Antique Writing Table/desk

Description

A superb quality, mid 19th century burr walnut writing table/desk. This antique writing table features a blind tooled black writing leather, with a walnut cross banded edge. The frieze and drawer fronts are burr walnut. Dating from around 1860, this antique writing table/desk stands on 'Gillows' inspired, fluted and turned legs, which finish with the original brass cup castors. The drawers are mahogany lined and are dove tailed. The patina is all completely original. In wonderful condition.

Dimensions: 77cm high x 122cm wide x 66cm deep. leg clearance 62cm.
