Description

What first attracted me to this mid 19th Century occasional table was its lovely untouched circular top, which radiates a myriad of appealing tones of colour that run across its well-figured mahogany surface, down through to its stylised tripod base. At some stage in the table's past, it has been reduced in height, most probably to sit comfortably beside a couch or armchair. However, whoever undertook this work, and it was executed with a good degree of skill, also valued its patina and thankfully left it undisturbed. After careful restoration, this attractive and useful antique table is now ready once again to be used and enjoyed.
