Description

A very charming chinoiserie side table of superb quality, the alluring lacquered panel 18th/19th century, the red frame with gilt-line decoration and scroll feet 20th century attributed to Mallet & Company.

The venerable London firm, Mallet & Company C.1880 were formidable retailers that started off life at the Octagon Chapel, Bath and later moved to 40 & 141 New Bond street, London.

Offered in overall lovely condition, general wear and tear consistent with age.
