Early C19th Regency period mahogany twin-pillar dining table .

Pair of mahogany pedestal tables with gently rounded corners , each supported on a turned central pillar column raised on shaped and moulded splayed tripod base fitted with original ‘flush-fitting’ gilded brass ‘bull-nose’ castors, together with an original extension leaf.

The underside of both tables and leaf fitted with original brass fittings/receptors together with brass ‘forks’ to secure.

Solid high-quality thick Cuban mahogany tops all with a rich original colour and patina. Minor historic marks and scratches to the original polished surface commensurate with age , use and purpose.

An elegant and well-proportioned table of broad proportions which would comfortably seat 6/8 diners .
