Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It is extremely well made and is a useful size to be used in various settings. The oval top has magnificent burr walnut grain patterns and a gorgeous colour.
This table also still has the finely shaped top & bottom finials. This must have been executed by an absolutely top level craftsman. It sits on a beautifully carved solid walnut base and sits on original porcelain casters.
We have had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age, with a lovely patina.
