Antique Small Georgian Mahogany Gate Leg Tea Table C1780 Wdb6049/6.10

Description

This is a gorgeous small and unusual antique george 111 mahogany gate leg tea table and dating from around 1780. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a rounded edge to the top which opens to reveal a secret storage area. This is above a deep mahogany skirt and it has a rear single drop leaf that opens by means of a single gate leg action and it stands on tapering legs with a pad foot.

It has its original locking mechanism inside that locks the compartment area when the gate leg is in place.

A beautiful small georgian tea table

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing the charm and character of the georgian period

Measures: 29" high X 13" deep (closed) X 26" (open) X 26"
