Antique Georgian Regency Mahogany Writing Table Chest Side Table C1800 Wdb6058/6.10

Description

Lovely antique georgian regency mahogany writing table and dating from around 1800. It has a rounded edge to the top above two flamed mahogany drawers with original mahogany knob handles and ivory escutcheons. The top drawer is fitted with a writing surface the top of which lifts to reveal a secret storage compartment and it has its original green baise in used condition and to the side there are compartments for inks and a pen tray.

It stands on turned legs joined by a shaped mahogany pot board.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the georgian regency period

Measures: 29" high X 16" deep X 20.5" wide X knee height 23.5"
