A Good Georgian Oval Mahogany Drop-leaf Dining Table

Description

A good late 18th century Georgian oval mahogany drop-leaf dining table. The solid mahogany top is of good colour and patina and each flap aligned with the grain of the centre section. The centre section stands on four sturdy legs terminating in pad feet. Each flap is hinged (no damage) and supported on a fold-out leg, making six legs in total. A good solid and sturdy table.

A truly versatile table wherever space is an issue. Placed against a wall with one flap up, it takes up just 18 inches x 47.5 inches and will seat 4 in comfort. Fully open it sits 6-8.

With flaps UP:              56 inches x 47.5 inches.

With flaps DOWN:       18 inches x 47.5 inches.
