Description

A distinctive Scottish form with single drop-flap. Excellent quality, dense mahogany almost certainly from Jamaica. The present table is closely related in terms of form, date and channel-moulded legs to an example attributed to Peter at Dumfries House. Condition- historic blacksmith's repair to inner left leg, several dents to the edge of the top. Handles original.

Depth with flap extended 82.5cm.
