Yolanda Gray Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
Designed in the Regency style, the set of tables are feature flush tops and are decorated with boxwood string inlay borders and boxwood dentil inlay edging. The nests of tables are supported by refined bar shaped turned legs, decorated with string inlay, which in turn are united by bar shaped stretchers to the rear (for additional strength), standing on splayed legs. The tables display superb craftsmanship and each of them slides comfortably into each other.

The Edwardian nest of tables boasts a rich brown mahogany colour and they are in excellent robust condition. This is an extremely useful piece of furniture and a great asset to have in any living or dining room or hallway, as they consume very little space.

This truly is a very beautiful item with quality construction and is original throughout. These Edwardian nest of tables would certainly grace any home, so don’t miss out on your chance to own such a lovely antique item.

Condition Report:
This is a fine quality antique Edwardian nest of tables, constructed of solid mahogany, comprising three tables, circa 1910, in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and tops, but nothing significant considering their age (see photos). The Edwardian nest of tables has a fantastic colour and patination; having been cleaned and professionally French polished by hand in our workshop. The legs, stretchers and feet are sturdy. Each of the tables fit comfortably into each other – there is a strip of green baize on the underside of the tables, to protect the French polished surfaces of the smaller tables, which slide in underneath. This Edwardian nest of tables are well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
