A George III mahogany envelope card table, the D shaped top with ebonised edge opening on a double gateleg to a dark grey baize playing surface over a frieze with ebony stringing and on square tapering supports. English circa 1790.
Condition: Overall excellent, the table is solid and robust, and the gateleg works properly. The baize is in good condition but has a couple of small holes. The table has good colour and pleasing grain and patina.
