Superb Antique Georgian Mahogany Carved Dish Top Tilt Top Table C1780 Wdb5984/27.9

Description

This is a superb antique georgian mahogany tilt top table with carved dish top and dating from around 1780. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a scalloped edge to the eight dish top which is profusely hand carved between with corn and grass and acanthus leaf. It stands on a gun barrel and reeded central support with three shaped legs carved to the shoulders on a paw foot.

In very good condition and with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the georgian period.

Measures: 30" high X 32" X 32"
