Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The well figured top is cross-banded and extends outwards to accommodate the additional leaf.
The table extends by means of the concertina wooden structure underneath and the extra leaf is held in place by its original brass clips.
A good solid and attractive table in excellent condition.
